Lawyer from Duquesne Light Company Makes 'Women of Influence' List

An attorney for Duquesne Light Company was recently chosen as a 2021 Woman of Influence by the Pittsburgh Business Times.

Tishekia Williams, who is lead counsel for DLC's regulatory strategy, was recognized by The Times for her work within the Pittsburgh community. She is committed to diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) efforts inside and out of work, serving on DLC's DEI council and is a sponsor of the company's African American employee resource group BRIDGE; Williams also is an active member of the Pittsburgh YWCA and volunteers with Sarah Heinz House.

More than 300 people gathered at the Westin Convention Center Hotel in Downtown Pittsburgh on Oct. 6 to celebrate the 26 women who received the honor.
