Duquesne Light Company Engineer Selected for Leadership Cohort

An engineer from Duquesne Light Company (DLC) was selected in the inaugural cohort of The Advanced Leadership Institute's (TALI) Emerging Leaders Program.

Deo Alexander, who is a distribution supervisor at DLC, is a proven leader at the electric utility. He is chairman of DLC's employee resource group, BRIDGE, which focuses on professional and network opportunities for Black employees.

TALI, a Pittsburgh-based nonprofit, aims to drive "more diverse, inclusive, and prosperous professional communities" around the region.

The organization seeks to provide a network that is "committed to driving meaningful representation of Black executives and professionals in corporate and community leadership roles," according to its website.
