DLC Sponsors Duquesne University Spirit of Diversity Event

On Friday, April 12, Duquesne University held its fifth annual Spirit of Diversity Dinner & Scholarship Benefit, which recognizes students who are committed to academic excellence, diversity and inclusion. Duquesne Light served as the event’s Champion Sponsor. Eight employees took part in the event.
Saleem Ghubril, Executive Director, The Pittsburgh Promise, was this year’s keynote speaker. During the event, several Duquesne University students received the 2019 Diversity and Inclusion Leadership Award, recognizing them for their leadership and academic accomplishments, both within and outside of the University.
