$3,500 Nissan Electric Vehicle Rebate Available Through April 1

Nissan North America, Inc., is offering DLC customers and employees a $3,500 rebate off the Manufacturer's Suggested Retail Price (MSRP) on the 100-percent electric LEAF. Duquesne Light’s partnership with Nissan on this offer is part of the Company’s ongoing efforts to increase the number of electric vehicles (EV) on the road in the greater Pittsburgh area.
In addition to the manufacturer incentives, the purchaser also could qualify for up to $7,500 in federal electric vehicle tax credits and a rebate of up to $2,000 through the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection’s Alternative Fuel Vehicle Rebate Program.
Depending on the model, the list price for the Nissan LEAF ranges from about $30,000 to $36,000. To qualify for the savings, individuals should show their DLC utility bill to participating Nissan dealerships that are listed at nissanusa.com/nissandealers/.
